Which documents do I need?
According to Allianz: your driving licence, the vehicle registration certificate, documents from your previous insurance and a receipt from your bank or credit card.
Can I insure my car while I switch to Spanish plates?
Yes. If you have started changing your international plates to Spanish ones, you can take out your car insurance with the temporary plates.
